This week's Offensive Player of the Week goes to QB #10 Joe Urso. This past weekend the Arbutus Thundercats hosted the Jersey Blue Devils. The Thundercats defeated the Blue Devils 74-7!!!! Joe Urso's performance was stellar. Joe thew for 186yds. Completing 14 out of 19 attempts. Joe threw 6 touchdowns and 1 interception. Congrats to Joe Urso on being our Week 7 Offensive Player of the Week!. This week the Thundercats are on the road to Reading, PA to face the 3 time MIFL Champions.
This week's Defensive Player of the Week goes to DB #8 Howard Leslie Jr. This past weekend the Arbutus Thundercats hosted the Jersey Blue Devils. The Thundercats defeated the Blue Devils 74-7!!!! Howard's performance was stellar. Howard was able to round up 2 interceptions for touchdowns. That's right 2 pick 6's! I guess the Devils's quarterback didn't learn his lesson from the first pick 6 he threw to #8. Congrats Howard on a great performance and being our Week 7 Defensive Player of the Week!
